After a two-year hiatus, the T3 conferences are making their triumphant return this May.
This year, Joel Bruckenstein is bringing the Advisor and Enterprise conferences together for a week-long affair in Denton, Texas – a return to the site of one of the most memorable T3 events ever, when Vanilla Ice rocked the mic right.
Our CEO Johnny Sandquist will be back in attendance again this year and he’s made a list of the sessions he’s most anticipating. Plus, he’s occupying a space in Podcast Alley with Torie Happe from Holistiplan as they co-host the TacoTech podcast, live and on site.
Make sure you stop by and record a podcast if you have time.
Now, onto the list!
Our Most Anticipated Sessions at T3 Advisor 2022
T3/Inside Information Technology Survey Results
Monday, May 2 @ 12:45 PM
The star of the show at every T3 Advisor conference is the unveiling of the T3/Inside Information Technology Survey. This survey is one of, if not the most, comprehensive survey of what technology solutions financial advisors use and it’s without a doubt our most anticipated session this year.
It’s always fun to see who has gained (and lost) ground from year to year, and to track the rise of new advisor tech companies as they grow.
Who will be the big stories this year? You’ll find out in less than a week.
Proven Marketing Techniques Advisors Need to Know
Tuesday, May 3 @ 11:45 am
As marketers, we’re always looking for new ways to educate ourselves and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and insights. So when one of our favorite marketers, Samantha Russell from FMG Suite, takes the stage – you know we’ll be there.
Samantha has been the preeminent marketing educator for financial advisors for the last several years, and she’s only become more visible since FMG Suite acquired her company, Twenty Over Ten.
What works and what doesn’t? Sam will tell you – and give you an action plan for how to take advantage of the best techniques.
The Importance of Inclusion
Tuesday, May 3 @ 5:30 PM
Financial services conferences are beginning to talk more about diversity and inclusion – but if things end at talking about it, the industry will continue to lag woefully behind on giving everyone a fair shot and creating a welcoming environment.
That said, we’re still glad to see a power-packed panel like this one hit T3. Kay Lynn Mahue, Luis Rosa, Kamila Elliot, and Jenny Johnson are the speakers, while industry vet Suzanne Siracuse will moderate.
Your Tech Experience Sucks…Now What?
Wednesday, May 4 @ 8:15 AM
We hope the content of this session is as provocative as its title.
T3 veterans Tim Welsh and Oleg Tichkevich will take the stage to talk about how advisory firms can take control of their data to build better technology ecosystems.
It’s already getting a little buzzywordy to talk about the importance of “data” but that doesn’t make it any less true. Firms of all sizes can benefit from better understanding how their apps use and share data, and how they can control and analyze it to its full potential.
Advice Engagement: The Present and Future of Financial Services
Wednesday, May 4 @ 2:40 PM
If Samantha Russell is on our list of “can’t miss” marketing experts, then Adam Holt from Asset-Map is at the top of that same list for fintech executives.
Much like the way Asset-Map helps advisors guide their clients to seeing their financial picture differently than they’re used to, Adam sees the world of financial advice differently than the average advisor too.
Financial planning is a key driver of value for advisory firms today, but Adam’s take is more comprehensive, nuanced, and interesting. He calls it “advice engagement” and if you want to approach client relationships in a more unique way, you’ll want to be at his session.
Scaling and Improving Pro Bono Financial Planning Through Technological Innovation
Wednesday, May 4 @ 4:40 PM
One of trends we’re most excited about in financial services right now is the increased drive to bring charitable efforts into the space, and that includes making it easier for advisors to offer pro bono services to people who otherwise might not be able to afford financial advice.
This panel will dive into the ways technology is making it more accessible for advisors to leverage pro bono services, so they can stay true to the mission of increasing financial health for more and more people in America – and not just the wealthy.
Will we see you at T3 Advisor 2022?
