Bio:
I started my career as a high school English teacher. Teaching teenagers forces you to pause and listen. You learn quickly that writing isn't the hard part; the hard part is being confident in what you think.
That lesson followed me into financial marketing. I moved from content roles at Orion Advisor Services to leading content at Mineral Interactive, an RIA-focused agency. In 2018, I launched Three Crowns because I wanted to build a different kind of practice. One grounded in judgment and focus, not production volume.
Over the years, I’ve worked with fintech innovators, award-winning advisory firms, and nonprofits navigating growth. I’ve seen what happens when companies default to activity instead of intention.
My work is about slowing that down.
I listen carefully, challenge assumptions, and help leaders define a position they can defend and a strategy they can commit to.
More than anything, I’m passionate about working with values-driven businesses who refuse to flatten themselves to fit an industry mold. Success shouldn’t require self-erasure.
I live in Omaha with my wife, three kids, and a rambunctious Aussie Doodle. Outside of work, I write poetry, play guitar, and plan (slightly overly ambitious) outdoor family adventures.
