We’re just seven days away from the big event: Hubspot’s Inbound 2022 Conference. That’s right, just one week until the ladies of the Three Crowns crew touch down in Boston for one of the biggest marketing events of the year – and to say we’re excited is a major understatement.
Our bags are (metaphorically) packed, our business cards are printed and our bucket lists are one check closer to completion. And with good reason – Inbound is one of the largest marketing conferences in the world. With over 26,000 annual attendees from more than 110 countries, the event is sure to be jam-packed with inspirational sessions and marketing brainiacs we can’t wait to fangirl over (not metaphorically).
To help you prepare for next week’s festivities, we’ve listed the top ten things our team can’t wait to experience at Inbound. Come say “Hi!” to us in Boston September 6-9 – we’d love to connect!
10 Things We’re Most Excited About for Inbound 2022
What’s on your to-do list for Inbound? Need a little inspiration to fill in the gaps on your agenda? We’ve got you covered. Here are the top ten things we’re most excited to experience at Inbound 2022.
1. The Keynote Speakers
I mean, could this lineup be any more awesome?
The amazing actress, producer and philanthropist Viola Davis takes the stage on Thursday morning to deliver a talk on “Capital, Creativity, and Community Care.” After lunch, kick it with the legendary Dr. Jane Goodall to hear her speak on “Rebuilding Our Collective Future.”
Round out your afternoon with a fireside chat from New York Times Bestselling Author, Glennon Doyle.
If that’s not enough to leave you totally tongue-twisted, Hubspot will host THE Barack Obama for a moderated conversation on community and culture.
If you ask us, this lineup is sweeter than corn.
2. Our Most Anticipated Breakout Sessions
In addition to the keynotes, there are some stellar breakout sessions we can’t wait to attend.
For example, Neil Patel (basically marketing royalty), will host a session on Thursday afternoon titled, “What’s Next: How to Navigate Marketing Around Search and Social Algorithms.”
A few of the other breakout sessions you can catch us at include:
-
What’s Next: Building an Organization to Fuel the Flywheel by Ashley Faus and Robert Chatwani
-
How it Started & How It’s Going: How Failure & Pivoting Can Create Massive Opportunity by Jay Schwedelson
-
Getting Smart About Smart Content by Mike K. Tatum
-
Mindful Communication for Remote Work Success by Upsana Guatam
-
Keeping Focus in the Speed of Culture by Jason Brown and Antoine Gregory
There are a ton of other sessions we’ll be attending next week, but this gives you a taste of some of our most highly-anticipated. Did your must-attend make our list?
3. The FOOD
A full day of jaw-dropping sessions is sure to leave your tummy rumbling worse than Pooh Bear with an empty honey pot.
Luckily, Inbound has assembled food trucks from Boston’s local scene to cater the multi-day event. You can check out the eats or wet your whistle at the Lawn on D, or grab some sweet treats at the exhibition hall.
Plus, Inbound sits right in the center of Seaport Neighborhood, a waterfront locale lined with yummy restaurants and bars. #Delicious
4. Barack Obama
I know we’ve already covered the keynote speakers, but we had to reiterate in case you didn’t hear:
THE Barack OBAMA will be speaking at INBOUND on Friday, September 9th.
BARACK OBAMA.
That is all.
5. Boston’s Historical Sites
Boston is one of the oldest cities in the country. It’s home to major historical places, like where the Boston Tea Party took place and where the Red Sox practice baseball.
Okay, so we don’t know a ton about Boston’s past – but there’s no time to learn like the present. We’ll be taking our hot girl walks along the Freedom Trail next week to brush up on all the oldest and coolest Boston treasures.
6. Networking Opportunities
Conferences are great opportunities to network. You’ll have the opportunity to meet and chat with marketers across all industries and locations, explore new solutions and commiserate over common marketing woes.
(Side note: we’re also dreaming of bumping into Survivor’s Boston Rob at the event. If you’re reading this, Boston Rob, we love you!)
Another reason we’re pumped for the chance to network? Inbound’s new wristbands.
7. New Digital Badges
When we first heard that Inbound was introducing new, digital badges for the event, we imagined a sci-fi horror scenario where we all ended up mind-controlled by the Hubspot overlords.
But after learning more about the new initiative, we’re actually super pumped. Once you have checked in and grabbed your badge, you can easily exchange contact information with others by tapping them together.
It’s innovative, it’s neat, and we can’t wait to tap badges with all of y’all real soon.
8. Our Three Crowns Twitter Takeover
If you don’t follow our Three Crowns Twitter account already, here’s your chance to hop aboard.
Project Manager Amber Froendt, Account Manager Sidney Snyder, and Mega-Awesome Content Writer Me (Justine Young) will be taking over the official Twitter account to live-tweet the experience in real time.
If you enjoy Gen-Z humor and pictures of half-eaten food, give us a follow!
9. The Goodies
My top three favorite things? Ice cream, true crime and free stuff.
If you’re a free-stuff lover like me, Inbound is a great chance to load up on all the goodies. Those rubber wristband things? Oh yeah. Free pens? I sure do love to write. Branded notepads? Those are great for making tiny paper airplanes.
Plus, if you download the Inbound 2022 app, you can snag all sorts of deals and sweet treats from this year’s sponsors, including free gift cards!
10. Inbound at Night
After a long day of amazingness, you’re gonna want to chillax – but that doesn’t mean going back to your hotel room to rewatch Twilight alone every night.
Pop on over to Inbound at Night, where comedian and actor Jimmy O. Yang will be performing stand-up for attendees and a DJ will bust out the coolest beats. Who doesn’t love Jimmy O. Yang?
Bonus #11: The Team Bonding Experience
Most importantly, we’re excited for the chance to bond as a team. The coworkers who make it through airport security together stay together, right?
