The 20th annual Technology Tools for Today Conference is just two weeks away. As we look ahead at the agenda for the 2024 T3 Conference, there’s a mix of the new along with the expected that has us excited to take part in this year’s activities.
If you’re still on the fence about attending, here’s why we’re counting down the days for the year’s first major-impact advisor event.

Daily Emcees
A new addition to the T3 agenda this year is the inclusion of daily emcees, starting with two of the most high-profile women in the industry. Abby Salameh, CMO of CAIS, kicks things off as the head of proceedings before giving way to Shannon Spotswood, President of RFG Advisory, on day two.
The third day of T3 sees a revolving cast of special track emcees with Craig Iskowitz, Founder of Ezra Group, and Ian McKenna, Founder of Financial Technology Research Centre, and Joel Bruckenstein himself.

Annual Software Survey Reveal
No T3 event would be complete without the flagship session of the conference — the revealing of the annual advisor technology survey results.
There are a handful of annual tech surveys published by various media outfits, but the T3 software survey has regularly been viewed as the preeminent edition. It gives an inside look at how satisfied financial professionals are with the various pieces of their tech stack, and importantly attempts to look ahead by asking which new solutions firms are considering.
It’s always fun to see who has gained (or lost) market share each year and to keep track of which up-and-coming WealthTech platforms move themselves out of the “up-and-coming” and into the “frontrunner” position of their respective category.
Big Name Speakers
T3 2024 has the speakers you’d expect: Joel Bruckenstein, the conference’s founder, is a mainstay. He’s joined by industry vets like Heather Fortner, Craig Iskowitz, John O’Connell, Suzanne Siracuse, Oleg Tishkevich, and Robb Baldwin – but there are some other faces you shouldn’t miss.
A couple we’re looking forward to are the ever-present media mogul Josh Brown of Ritholtz Wealth and Bill Crager, the CEO of Envestnet who just announced this week that he is stepping down (continuing a 2023 trend of longtime WealthTech CEOs stepping away from the companies they founded). It seems like Josh will be around for a long while yet, but this is a perfect opportunity to see Bill once more before he takes a step out of the spotlight.
