This time, Hamilton Lane is the investor, and the raise puts CAIS into “unicorn” status with a valuation of over $1 billion.
Alternative investments, once somewhat difficult to access for the average advisor and investor, are becoming increasingly mainstream with technology platforms like CAIS leading the way.
And in the current market environment where nothing is a sure shot, alternatives look more and more attractive as a tool advisors can use to manage client portfolios through choppy waters.
