InvestCloud Snatches Advicent
Financial planning has been in a slow arms race for the last several years as Envestnet acquired MoneyGuide and Orion bought up Advizr. The InvestCloud acquisition of Advicent (and its NaviPlan software) is another marker on that road. We think NaviPlan has an underrated UI/UX and this move creates a fully unified wealth management platform for InvestCloud.
RIA in a Box Acquires Itegria
Does it feel like the M&A news never stops? This one is an exciting move for our friends at RIA in a Box. The Itegra acquisition brings additional cybersecurity expertise to the RIA in a Box team, who are rapidly adding features and depth to their MyRIACompliance solution. As remote work adds complexity for advisor teams, this acquisition looks like it will unify and simplify compliance management.
