I feel lucky to have been included as a part of the Social/Digital Hub at the 2019 Morningstar Investment Conference (all thanks goes to Marie Swift of Impact Communications for inviting me to participate).
During the conference, we discussed the impact that social media can have on an advisory firm’s marketing and digital presence.
If you only take away one idea from this panel, I think the most important is to remember that social media is for relationships. If you are only using the “media” part of the equation and posting content without engaging, you are missing out of the “social” part, which is what will make the biggest difference in your firm.
