10,000 Reasons to Smile (and Trial Holistiplan)
When most companies announce a growth milestone, it isn’t usually news.
But Holistiplan isn’t like most companies. Instead of sitting back and congratulating themselves for reaching 10,000 advisors in just three years, they’re celebrating success by giving back.
In tandem with the milestone, the industry’s most popular tax planning software announced they’re also donating 10,000 meals for the No Kid Hungry charity, and they’re giving away 10,000 free tax return uploads for advisors to leverage with pro bono clients.
It’s pretty inspiring to see fintech companies use their success to pay it forward. And if you want to be part of the action, they also are running a 10K challenge – a 10-day free trial so advisors can get a few extra days to experience how transformative tax planning can be in their firm.
Swipe File Alert: Subject Lines are a Pain in the Butt – Here are Some Decent Ones to Get Ideas Flowing
Digital marketers know the pain of coming up with the perfect subject line, only to see that open rate fall flat. It’s tough to entice your audience with just a few words (and a dash of emojis).
Lucky for us, Klaviyo has just released a great list of subject line best practices based off of real data. The best part? They’re throwing plenty of real-world examples for you to put into action on your next email campaign.
Just keep in mind that nothing is one-size fits all – you know your audience better than anyone. When in doubt, hit that A/B test to be sure.
A/Bra Cadabra: A Subject Line
Everything Elon Musk Wants to Change About Twitter
Will Elon Musk’s Twitter purchase really happen? Will it fall through? Will you quit Twitter if he takes it private? Does anyone actually know anything that is going on?
Whether or not it does happen, Ryan Neal from InvestmentNews asked advisors for their thoughts and one thing is clear: They’re actually…excited?
This reaction is likely one that falls along political lines, as we’ve seen plenty of other (possibly more progressive-leaning) advisors express their dismay online about Musk becoming the emperor of Twitter.
Whatever happens, it’s not likely that Musk’s role is going to materially change the way advisors use Twitter – after all, most of them aren’t even using it at all.
Even if Musk comes through and finally gets us that Edit button we all want.
Here’s what we’ve been listening to this week.
