Riskalyze Sells to Hg Capital
Congratulations are in order for our friends at Riskalyze, the most-used risk tolerance platform for advisors. Just in time for their annual user conference, the company announced that they’ve sold a majority stake to Hg Capital, a private equity firm. Riskalyze’s growth has been like a rocket ship since its founding in 2011, and it’s expected that this deal will give it the funding and capabilities it needs to take its risk software not just to the stratosphere, but to the moon.
Skip Schweiss Named CEO at Sierra Group
As a longtime executive at TD Ameritrade, Skip Schweiss has been a central figure in the industry for a long, long time. That didn’t stop when he stepped away from TD Ameritrade either, as his next move was to serve as president of the Financial Planning Association. Now, he’ll be making his mark on the RIA side as the CEO of Sierra Group. Big, exciting news for all.
