Remember in the spring when we were all so full of hope that the fall conference season would be back to “normal”? Well, the Delta variant has other plans. Two more conferences pushed their dates out to 2022 this year—the much anticipated Jolt! from Snappy Kraken and Inside ETFs and Inside WeathStack. We hope you write in your calendar with pencil instead of pen.

Next, though, let’s talk about a conference that (shocker!) actually happened. Sam Steinberger from Wealth Management was there to witness the action. As you might expect if you’ve followed Orion’s evolution over the last several years, the big focus was on behavioral finance (starring Dr. Daniel Crosby) and cash management services for RIAs (starring Focus Financial, a partner of Orion).
Google’s Updating Page Titles—Why Does That Matter?
The tl;dr is this: Google has updated how title tags for web pages display in search results. The search giant wants title tags to be easy to read and clearly describe what a searcher will find on a page. In some cases, Google might determine a title tag doesn’t accurately describe what’s on the page—so it will generate a new one. Most of the time that won’t happen. Just focus on writing descriptive and accurate title tags for each page on your site.
